It's been a rough day for me. Too much crying and too much worrying. This morning my mom called to tell me Hospice called and asked the family to come up. My Granny's pulse has slowed and she is no longer responsive. Currently my family is at Hospice. Really sucks to be this far away and not be able to go there at the drop of a hat. Prayer 1: My Granny's peace and comfort.
A little while ago I got a call from Deidra. She is back in the hospital. She is on permanent bed rest from here until Alexis is born. Her doctor told her she was to stay in the hospital until Alexis arrives. She's only 30 weeks pregnant (babies are usually born around 40 weeks). Deidra called back a few minutes ago to tell me her doctor is going to test her protein levels again tomorrow. If they go down again she may be able to go home but she will still be on bed rest. Prayer 2: Deidra's protein levels go down and Alexis continues to stay put for several more weeks.
Now some good news. My friend Eva who I wrote about before is excited to announce her babies were born this afternoon. Although I haven't talked to her yet I imagine she has to be elated! After all the issues they had several weeks ago, it is amazing how long the babies actually stayed in. Prayers 3-5: The health of these two sweet babies. Pray also for the quick healing of surrogate Sarah. And finally pray for Eva and Kyle as they begin to take care of TWINS!
