Last Day of School

Yesterday was Anna's last day of school. She was a little sad. She is going to miss her teachers so much. She's been telling me for a couple months that she doesn't want any other teachers, she only wants Mrs. Price and Mrs. Rayne forever. I know she'll grow to love her teachers next year just as she loves Mrs. Price and Mrs. Rayne. I've assured her she can still say hello to her old teachers everyday if she needs to.

Anna has learned so much this year. The main thing I wanted out of preschool this year was for her to make new friends and learn to play with others. She's still a little shy when she's around other kids but once she warms up there's no stopping her.

I'm so grateful for her teachers. It's hard for a momma to leave her baby girl with complete strangers (at the beginning). They made Anna feel comfortable which in turn made me feel comfortable.

Anna & Ms. Hollis. She has been with Cornerstone for over 20 years and decided this would be her last. Although she was not Anna's teacher (she is actually the director of the entire preschool) she knew Anna by name and always made a point to speak to Anna and call her by name when she saw her in the hall. As a parent that made me feel even better about leaving my child in their care several hours a day, twice a week.
