Halloween

The kids had a blast trick or treating. Anna's Fancy Nancy hair didn't hold up but that was due to me not putting it up earlier in the day and letting it sit in the curlers longer. I should have known better. Oh well at least it looked good for her pictures. After trick or treating the kids went to Memaw's so the adults could play.

My dad and Candy came to town to help celebrate my 30th. And boy did we celebrate. My dad surprised me with a LIMO! I was so relieved because we were going to Midtown to see a Guns N Roses cover band and I was worried about everyone driving home. The limo was perfect. Several of us dressed up 80's. I had big hair (thanks to Kristi and Gina). It was awesome. Nathan, Deidra and my dad did a great job planning my b-day party. Thank you very much! I'm glad I only turn 30 once. I don't think I could handle a night like this again for a VERY LONG TIME.

Fancy!

Deanna took Halloween pictures yesterday of the kids. She was so excited she went home and started editing. She took hundreds of pictures so as you can imagine she's not done yet but she has put a bunch of Anna on her blog. Take a look. They are adorable. We took Anna's pictures at Kim's Creamery on West Rd. Kim was actually there when we arrived and she made a huge ice cream sundae for the pictures. It was awesome. Deanna is going to work on getting Cole's pictures up soon so check back later to see his spider man pictures.

Dewberry Farm

We took the kids to Dewberry Farm again this year. We met the Bryant's there. Anna and Cole had so much fun playing with Riley and Bentley. Dewberry is always so much fun but a little on the expensive side.

Cole LOVES Tractors so you can imagine this was awesome to him.

Future husband and wife! The whole way to Dewberry Anna talked about going to see her boyfriend Riley. I told her if she had too many boyfriends she was going to make a name for herself.

Bentley was less than thrilled to be on the horse with Riley

My attempt at getting all 4 kids in the same photo. Cole would not turn around for anything.

Cole wanted to go down the slide by himself. He was so funny. Everyone was laughing at him.

Preschool Open House

Last night was Anna's Open House at school. It was so fun seeing her with some of her classmates. She talks about all the little girls her in class and only a couple little boys. One boy she talks about is Hunter. She calls him her boyfriend! The other is Fernando. She only talks about him because he apparently hits other kids. Below are a few pictures I took. I was really hoping to get a picture of her and Hunter together but he had already come and gone by the time we got there. Oh and by the way, she doesn't really understand the concept of a boyfriend. She just likes him because he likes to play with her and he has some of the same clothes Cole has.

Shootin' some hoops

I believe Cole has found a sport that really interests him. Well I guess I should say that really keeps his attention for an extended period of time. On Wednesday's we go to the Y to take Anna to ballet (so she can sit on the floor and watch while the others participate). Anyway as we wait I've started taking Cole to the gym to play basketball. He LOVES it. He constantly asks me to shoot a basket. When I make it he gets super excited. Maybe this will be his sport. If so he better hope he has his daddy's height.

He also liked to play on the bleachers

Pumpkin Patch. Take 2

Deidra and I took the kids to a different pumpkin patch yesterday afternoon. This place was so much better. It had cute theme areas to take pictures and there were only a few people there. Deidra took over 600 pictures. Don't be fooled. When it comes to my kids she has to set her camera so that she just holds down the button and continuously takes pictures in hopes of getting a few good ones.
