The first day of riding the bus was the worst but days 2, 3 & 4 were awesome. Today she had a meltdown before we went out. She wanted me to take her to school. I don't mind taking her but she has two good friends on the bus with her and I don't want her to skip out on them. Also once Cole starts school it'll be harder because the car line is supposed to be horrendous. We'll see how it goes next week.
Each day she comes home telling me all about the fun stuff she's been doing. She apparently plays with A LOT of playdoh. We asked her earlier this week if she went to PE that day and she said "no we just went into that big gym area and played games and ran around." We had to explain to her that it's called PE. Then she kept saying she went to eat in the Galleria. We finally figured out she didn't know it was called the cafeteria.
I know I've been updating a lot about Anna but I really need to say how AWESOME Cole has been this week. I was seriously dreading this week for him because Anna is his best friend. I thought he was going to drive me insane with his boredom. It's been the opposite actually. He plays trucks all day by himself. He also plays with Jack alot. Everyday he pulls out Anna's doll house and sets it up like either a lake house, regular house or fire station. Yesterday he found a belt and pretended to hook his boat up to the house. When I asked what he was doing he said "this is a lake house and this is where you tie the boat up when you come back from riding in it." He has such an imagination.
Forgot to mention that the hardest part of the week (besides waking up early) is that Anna doesn't have much time in the evening to play like she's used to. It's about to get worse. She's been asked to try out for a class at gymnastics that meets twice a week for an hour and a half each day. It's pretty expensive so I don't know that we'll pursue it but I want her to try out. She's also about to start soccer. I have to admit, as a child I NEVER fully appreciated my parents carting me around to gymnastics, cheerleading and softball. I think this is my punishment. My life now revolves around Anna's schedule. I don't mind it at all but there are days when I just don't want to do any of it.
