Not a lot going on latey

I haven't updated my blog in the last three weeks because we haven't had a ton going on. Three weekends ago our next door neighbors came back for a quick trip to pack up their house. It's so weird seeing their house empty. We had to leave for MS before Chris and the boys left so we were unable to see them off but we did get to spend one last day and night hanging out with them. We had a great time as usual.







We spent a week in Mississippi. This will be the last time we get to go back for a while. We took Jack and that was an awful experience. He peed & pooped all over my mom's house. It was one of those experiences where it makes you really second guess the reason you got a dog in the first place. There were several times where I let Jack out to go potty and I secretly thought "If he runs off to a better home, I think I'll be ok with it." No luck, he's actually great about not running off at all. Below are a few pictures from MS. We went to the Children's Museum, went swimming, visited family, had a Scentsy party and pretty much just hung out. We were so ready to go home but it was a good last trip of the summer.

I'm so ready for school to start. Anna starts Kindergarten 2 weeks from today. I CANNOT WAIT!!! She is so bored which means she is driving me crazy. My children are completely incapable of just finding something to do around the house. They act like we have to be going somewhere and doing something outside of the house at all hours of the day. When I tell them we are going home, they both melt down and throw a fit. Cole starts school Aug. 31. He's going three days a week this year. This morning he asked me if he was going to school and considering the context of the conversation and the reason he asked me I said yes. He immediately ran and got his new school shoes on. When I told him he had 3 more weeks and he wasn't going today he threw a major fit. He is so ready to go back to school and be able to play on the "big" playground as opposed to the little kid playground.
