Last Week of "Summer"

This week has been dedicated to doing fun things with Anna for her last week of summer. Monday she had a spend the night party with Memaw & Riley. Tuesday we went skating. Wednesday we pained pottery. Thursday we went to A Bunch of Fun and Friday we met her teacher. By the end of the week I was tired and broke!

Yesterday we met Anna's new teacher for the year. Up until now Anna has been a little reluctant to get excited about starting Kindergarten. Yesterday she finally got excited. Nathan and I were both relieved. Below are some of the pictures I took.

Today I have been really sick. I went to the doctor early this morning. I have a sinus and ear infection. I think I've also been running a low grade temperature but I've been so miserable I haven't wanted to find the thermometer to check it. I've been laying in bed all day while Nathan has taken care of the kids. When I have the kids all day I can't do anything without them asking me for a million things. If I try to do anything I'm constantly interrupted. Nathan on the other hand can watch the kids and build a play house for them. They stayed outside all day without complaining. That would never work if I were in charge for the day.
