- He's ridiculously smart for his age. I don't know who to give credit to, him or Anna. Anna is a great teacher but Cole picks up on things so fast. He knows his address and phone number and has known them for several months.
- His favorite thing to do is wrestle with his daddy.
- He looks like Nathan but unfortunately has my attitude. He's the most irritable little turd. When he's not happy, no one's happy. I've said it before and I still mean it, he's a grumpy old man in a little boy's body.
- My heart melts when he says "I love you mommy."
- He's so stinking funny with his facial expressions and mannerisms. The words that come out of his mouth sometimes make me laugh uncontrollably.
- He has no problem defending his sister when other kids are not playing nice with her. I watched him bow up to a kid 3 years older than him the other day because this kid was picking on Anna. IT WAS AWESOME! I was willing to watch Cole get one lick in before I pulled him off. The other kid was being a total butt head. Luckily it didn't come to that.
- Anna is the shy one, Cole is not. If we are out and about and he sees some kids playing he'll walk right up and say "hey my name is Cole and this is my sister Anna."
- He's not a people pleaser. He could care less if he makes you happy. He's going to do what he wants to do.
- If he feels he is getting unfairly punished he will argue his point with me. The kid is far older than his age.
- He's currently going through separation anxiety. He freaks out when he can't find me. When he goes to school he wants me to tell him I'll be right outside waiting for him. It makes me feel needed!
- He's still in gymnastics and will be starting soccer soon. I can't wait to see if he's a natural athlete like his sister.
I absolutely adore my perfect little man. He gives us grief but he's worth it.
Happy Birthday Cole!
The pictures below show his range of silly faces.
