First Soccer Game

Anna's first soccer game was today. She did really good. We don't keep score (whatever, we won 4 -2!) because it's just for fun and boy did they have fun! Most of the kids did so awesome. Some were a little overwhelmed. All were ridiculously hot. I mean a 2:00 game for 4 year olds is a little crazy. I was so proud of Anna. She really came out of her soccer shell so to speak. At practice she sort of just stood around. During the game she was all about getting the ball. Below are a few pictures. I couldn't be 100% certain but I believe Anna had the most fans in the crowd. Thank you to all who came out and all who tried.

It's kind of hard to see but Anna has the ball and is headed for the goal. She got an assist on this goal.

At the beginning of the game, three of the girls just stood in the middle of the field and watched. Thankfully it took only a few minutes for them to get moving.

Riley was AWESOME!

The sweetest moment of the whole game. Annie accidentally kicked and ball and hit an opposing team member in the head. It made the little girl cry. Annie felt so bad. Her older brother was sitting by the goal coaching her the whole time so she ran over to him and cried on his shoulder. Annie is an awesome athelete and obviously she's got a big heart too.
