We went to Mississippi this past weekend to visit my family. I like visiting but I'm not fond of the drive.
The leaves are changing in MS. So pretty.
Anna is going to be a flower girl in my cousin's wedding. We tried on several dresses.
We visited my grandfather who is doing amazingly well.
Cole got really attached to his cousin Tori. He loved her one night then didn't want to be around her the next day.
Santa sent Anna & Cole a present today. He sent an Elf on the Shelf. The package arrived when we were away picking up Anna from school. When we got home Anna saw that Santa put a wrapped package on our doorstep. The note attached explained that he had sent his elf to watch over Anna and Cole. Anna named the elf Charlie. Charlie is to report to Santa daily on both kids and whether they have been naughty or nice. As soon as Charlie got comfy on the shelf Anna started telling him everything she wanted for Christmas. It was pretty funny watching her stare at the mantle and tell this elf what she wanted. She couldn't understand why he didn't talk back. I hope this helps stop some of her temper tantrums. Cole is still too little to understand the concept but Anna definitely believes in it. I'll keep you posted on whether or not it's working.
