Summer...so far

We've had a busy 2 weeks. I'm trying my best to keep the kids on the go. If not they get bored and I get irritated so on the go works best! Thankfully my kids LOVE to sleep late so our days don't usually start until about 9:30! Anna would sleep longer but I usually wake her up then just so she'll go to sleep at a reasonable time that night. I'm trying to do free or cheap activities. So far we've been bowling 3 times (www.kidsbowlfree.com is AWESOME!!). We've been to the pool lots of times. We've been to several movies (Rave movie theaters has a Family Festival where they show a free movie each week). A Bunch of Fun (www.haveabunchoffun.com) isn't free or cheap but it's worth it. They have free wifi so I can take my computer or ipad and play while the kids play. I've also been doing projects from www.pinterest.com (see below).

Today I'm packing for one of our upcoming trips. This weekend Nathan's youngest brother, Wade, is getting married. From there we are going straight to San Antonio for several days. The kids and I are going to Sea World while Nathan works. We went earlier this year and bought the pass that allows you to go back for free. Momma is all about doing all this summer fun on the cheap! I don't know how long I can keep this "on the go" up. I'll probably be exhausted by the time school starts in August!

The A-frame tents I made. The kids love them! After I made them they sat in them in the play room and watched a movie and had popcorn.

Next up Nathan and I made this water sprinkler they could ride bikes and scooters through. Easy and cheap! The kids love it.

This is just a glimpse of what we've been doing. With all the trips we have coming up I'll have lots more pictures to show soon enough.
