Sorensen Family Christmas

Due to the size of the Sorensen family it takes a lot of planning to get everyone together for Christmas. This year we had to celebrate Christmas 2 weeks after Christmas which was actually perfect timing considering my sweet niece Katelyn was born on Dec 22! Tony and Sarah originally thought they wouldn't be able to make it but they surprised us last minute. Katelyn is such a good baby and didn't mind a bit that everyone wanted to love on her.

Jack was jealous so Will gave him some love. This was Will's second trip back so I'm guessing he's not going anywhere! Well actually he is and so is Heather. They are both moving to Austin in April!!!! YAY!!! The first weekend they are settled Nathan and I will be driving the kids over for a weekend visit. Nathan will slow down long enough for me to gently push them out of the car before we haul butt. Heather is the only sibling willing to take them for the whole weekend. That is likely to change after the first visit so I'm going to enjoy myself for that whole weekend!



Jason asked that we each bring ornaments to decorate his tree. I brought some that the kids could paint. We put Katelyn's foot print on one. It turned out really cute.



The Texans were playing so we set the TV up outside and sat in the 80 degree weather to watch the game.



This guy fell in the pool. This is actually after he fell in the pool and changed clothes. He decided it wasn't so bad the first time and he got in again.



Anna wanted in as well.

Wade threw almost everyone in the pool that evening. Including me. I didn't go down without a fight but in the end I surrendered and allowed him to throw me in only because Anna was freaking out thinking he was hurting me.



Will let Cole push him in. Cole thought that was hilarious.



A little brotherly love



Prom posing with my brother. Blake and Shawn came over too which was cool. Growing up my whole family (both mom and dad sides) got together for holidays so it was neat having him join in the Sorensen family Christmas.

Nathan and his youngest brother, Wade, look a lot alike. Wade is getting married to Rachel in June. Unfortunately she couldn't take off work to come over for the weekend.
