Thanksgiving was good. My mom and Ricky came for a visit. We ate too much. I burned the cheesecake, Nathan burned the pecan pie, I dried out the stuffing and Nathan dried out part of the turkey. Oh well we still ate like we were famished. Just as we were all sitting down to eat Cole fell over and knocked a gash in his head. He hit it on the corner of the window sill. This boy has the worst luck with window sills (his last fight with the window sill cut his lip in half). Anyway it bled ALOT. I wanted to go to the ER but I was vetoed by all in attendance. Jenn (having dealt with all of Bruno's head wounds) told me it would be OK so we cleaned him up then all say down to eat finally. Cole's head is healing quick and he hasn't complained since the day after.
We got the house decorated inside and out. The outside looks really good. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a win this year in the neighborhood lights contest. Seriously I think we deserve it. We are a few net lights shy of the Griswalds. When I get a chance I'll post a picture of the lights outside.
Currently it is snowing in Houston. The kids have had a good time watching the snow come down. Nothing is sticking just yet but maybe by tonight it will stick and the kids can go out and play for a minute. It is snowing big time on the south side of town. One of the highways down there looks like something you see in Colorado. Pretty crazy.
