We're back!

We got home from Jamaica about 6:15 last night. Nathan & I were so happy to be home with our babies. We all missed each other tons. They were well taken care of so I really had no worries while I was away.

We arrived in Jamaica on Wednesday around 1:00 pm. We went to the hotel to get checked in and from there we checked out our awesome resort (Rose Hall- Hilton). We went all inclusive so we didn't have to bring a wallet all weekend. They had a fun pool / water slide / lazy river that we took full advantage of. We drank a lot of fruity drinks and ate WAY TOO MUCH! The food was so good that we just could resist eating constantly it seemed.

Our only real complaint about the resort was the fact that there were so many teenagers who were left to their own vices and always found themselves at the bar next to us. The night life was also pretty boring. There was a "night club" we lovingly referred to as the discoteca (Jamaicans don't speak Spanish by the way). Anyway the nightclub was lame and full of kids. Other than those two issues the resort was awesome.

We were able to talk to the kids a couple of times a day via Skype. I'm so happy we got to see them and even happier that they could see us because I know all of this created a lot of anxiety for Cole. My mom told me Cole kept going to the computer to see if we were still there. Poor guy was missing us big time.

Even though I loved being on vacation without the kids I don't think we'll be taking another anytime in the near future.
