Been a busy week

We've been pretty busy over the last week or more. My cousins Ashley and Josh came to town last Friday and left early Thursday morning. I think Josh would have liked a shorter stay (he only packed clothes for a few days) but Ash made herself right at home. My kids LOVED them. Anna and Cole couldn't get enough of them. Both Ashley & Josh are attentive so it was very easy to go to the mall with two kids in tow. Normally we don't attempt that when it's just me.

On Saturday the neighbors, Blake, Jessie, Ashley & Josh all were here for a mini birthday party for Nathan. We always get together with the neighbors on Saturdays so we just added a cake and a few more people and made a party out of it.

The rest of the week was just spent running around swimming, shopping, working out, EATING and going to see Harry Potter. Ashley and I got to do this because Nathan and Josh played golf earlier in the day.

Forgot to mention Blake & Jessie finally set a wedding date and boy am I excited! They are getting married Dec. 11, 2010 on the coast of Mississippi. They've been engaged for almost a year and you can imagine how often I asked if they set a date yet. I'm a little impatient. Anyway I'm happy for them. Cole & Anna get to be ring bearer and flower girl.

Finally I should mention that Anna had her first dentist appointment this past Monday. We attempted to go to the dentist a couple of weeks ago but the place was so scary I wouldn't get out of the car. So I rescheduled for a different place. We went in and the hygenist was great with Anna. Anna didn't want to do anything at first then the hygenist let her play with the dental tools and showed her the tooth paste and all. After that we asked if she wanted to sit in the chair and shockingly she wanted to. Then we asked if she wanted to get two of her teeth brushed and she did. Then we asked if she wanted to get the rest cleaned and she did! It was amazing. I was so proud of her. Then of course the MALE (Anna's not a fan of men she doesn't know) came in and she refused to open her mouth. She was freaked out. Finally she obliged and we were on our merry way. We go back in 6 months. We'll see if that visit goes as well.
