Anna has been cracking us up with her phrases lately. A few days ago she & Cole were playing outside. She pushed Cole and I put her in time out. She proceeded to fake cry and scream and then she said "I CAN'T BELIEVE I'M IN TROUBLE." I was secretively laughing so hard. Another new one is "I'm frustrated..." I asked her tonight why she was frustrated and she said it was because Cole was using her place mat and her's are for girls (Tinkerbelle, Strawberry Shortcake etc.). The other night she was in a real mood while trying to go to bed. Nathan finally gave up and said he wasn't reading her books or singing her songs and he turned around & left. She then started fake crying again saying "we're not berry best friends anymore" and "you don't love me anymore." That one broke my heart so I started to go in and Nathan (he always has more will power than me) told me not to go in, it was just a game she was playing. Sure enough it was and she went to sleep just fine. She's such a mess sometimes.
Cole on the other hand has entered the phase where he loves to do the opposite of everything we tell him to and he laughs about it. He climbs on and over the back of the furniture. He hits his sister when she takes something away from him. His new thing is headbutting. No idea where he learned this but he thinks it's hilarious. He's also into dancing and clapping at himself. He doesn't know how to jump yet but he thinks he does. He'll bend his knees then straighten them really fast and clap at himself. It's hysterical.
On a different note. Anna has strep again. I wish I knew how she got this so often. This is the 3rd time in one year. Now I'm just praying Cole doesn't get it.
