Happy Birthday to Cole

Today is my sweet man's birthday. He is offically 1 year old and although we love watching him grow I'm sad he's no longer a baby. We had his birthday party yesterday and he had a really good time. He dug into his cake and actually didn't make too much of a mess. His first year molars are coming in so he's having a hard time with his gums & teeth. Other than that he's happy as can be.

OK so this idea was not mine but I'm so thrilled Deidra gave it to me. I used one of Cole's dump trucks (thoroughly cleaned) & made a dirt cake in the back of it. The dirt you see is actually finely chopped oreos and those little colorful things are gummy worms. By the way, those of you wondering why the cake says Tony- it was Nathan's brother (Cole's Godfather) Tony's actual birthday yesterday so I made him a cake. Didn't want him to feel left out.
