Mini Vacation

Nathan has been off all week so we decided that we would make a HUGE to do list and take a mini vacation. First on our to do list was to redo Anna's room into a big girl room. She loves it. She even sleeps in there all night. She has even gotten up out of her bed to ask for something to drink then goes right back to her bed. That has never happened.



Other things on the to do list included various cleaning chores, updating pictures on the wall, putting futon back together so we have more room for people to sleep when they visit and a bunch of Easter related errands. We accomplished all of it. It's amazing what you can do once you make a list and actually work at marking things off.

Anyway back to the fun part. Wednesday we took the kids to San Antonio. We stayed with a friend (former co-worker) of mine, Nikki. She and Mikel put us up and even made us dinner. The next day we took the kids to Sea World. They loved it. Cole loves animals so he thought all the dolphins in the dolphin feeding area were awesome. Anna loved watching the Shamu (Shampoo as she calls it) show. We were all worn out by the time we left.

After SA we drove up to Austin to visit our friends Jimmy & Becky and their little girl Myka (3 weeks younger than Cole). We stayed there for the night them came home today.





Myka loved Nathan and that didn't set well with Cole.



This is the compromise. He had to hold them both.

We look forward to going back to SA this summer. Nathan & I paid the extra few bucks for the season pass. Anna was free this time but we'll have to pay for her next time.
