Is it Saturday yet?
Now that I have no job and am home with my beautiful children ALL day I no longer look forward to Friday. Saturday is now the day I long for all week. Especially this week. Cole has been sick since the end of last week. It is particularly sad when he is sick because he's such a happy, easy baby normally but when he's sick he's a monster. Next up Anna is in a phase where the only thing she likes to do is whine and cry over nothing. Unnecessary whining brings me to my boiling point when it comes to her. To top it all off Nathan has been going to work before dawn and coming home after 5:00. He even had to work (& play) both days this past weekend. Even worse he's been gone since Tuesday morning early and won't be home until Thursday afternoon. This means me and the kids for over 60 hrs by ourselves. I should have taken a picture of my nice, dark brown hair because it will surely be gone soon. The little bit I haven't pulled out will be gray! I have a friend (Megan) who is a stay at home mom to three children and her husband is a Navy Seal who is currently deployed for 6 or 7 months. When I start to pity myself for being left alone for 2.5 days I think of her and tell myself "grow up, you're being baby." Afterall my children are the light of my life. So for now I'll just look forward to Saturday and pray that Nathan makes it home safely tomorrow.
